Fast-growing herbs like basil, mint and chives are typically ready in 3–4 weeks. Lettuce and mixed greens take 4–5 weeks. Microgreens can be harvested in as little as 10–14 days.

A bright window is enough for most herbs and lettuces. For darker spaces or year-round growing in low-light homes, a simple full-spectrum grow light makes a big difference. We sell one separately.

No. TCG PRO uses an open system — any seeds from any nursery, supermarket or hardware store work perfectly. No proprietary pods, no subscriptions, no lock-in.

The pump uses roughly 10W — about the same as a phone charger. Nutrients cost around $15–20 per month depending on how full you keep the tower. Most customers find they save that and more on grocery herbs within the first month.
